How to block a number

Blocking a number from being able to send you calls or text messages is simple in String. Simply sign into your String account and click on a conversation. 

There are two ways to block phone numbers in String:

1. To block that number click the Block Phone Number in the upper right corner of your screen
2. The other way to block a phone number is by clicking on your inbox on the left side of your screen and going to Blocked Numbers. From there click the + symbol and enter a number to block.

To unblock a number, go back to Blocked Numbers and click on the trashcan icon next to the number you wish to unblock.

In the mobile app, there's no way to block a number from the conversation itself but if you click on the menu icon in the top left part of your screen, then expand your inbox, you will see the Blocked Numbers option just as you see in our web interface.
