The first step in the process of registering a 10DLC campaign is to register your brand. In this guide, we'll walk you through this process. To register your brand:
- Log in to your String account
- Click on your name in the bottom left corner of your screen and select 10DLC Management from the menu (Note that you can see your overall status in the 10DLC process here)
- Click Submit Brand to get started in the process
- Here you will be asked to complete a form with the following fields:
-Legal Company Name - Enter the company name associated with your federal tax ID. If you're registering as a sole proprietor, enter your first and last name instead.
-DBA or Brand Name, if different from legal name
-What type of legal form is this organization? - Select from privately or publicly traded company
-Country of Registration - Must be United States, Canada or US Territory
-Tax Number/ID/EIN
-Tax Number/ID/EIN Issuing Country
-DUNS or GIIN or LEI Number
-Address/Street
-City
-State/Region
-ZIP/Postal code
-Website - Ensure that you have a privacy policy linked on your company website. This comes in handy when it's time to register your campaign.
-Vertical Type
-First name
-Last name
-Support Email Address
-Support Phone Number - Note that currently, if you're registering as a sole proprietor, we do not have a carrier to support that use case. Sole proprietors can still initiate the registration and submit a campaign but it will not be fully approved until we have a provider that supports this.
- Once sole proprietor is supported, you will be asked for an SMS-enabled mobile telephone number where you will receive an OTP (One Time Passcode) with instructions to verify your brand.
- Once brand registration is complete and approved, you will be able to register your campaign.
